5-Day: Classic Safari

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins as you depart from Arusha and head towards Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. After a scenic drive, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Predators like lions and leopards are often seen here, as well as an array of colorful birdlife. As the day comes to a close, you’ll arrive at your campsite within the park, where you’ll settle in for a night under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll leave Tarangire and head towards Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and stunning lake views. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a game drive along the shores of the lake, where flamingos, hippos, and a variety of waterbirds can be spotted. Keep an eye out for baboons, buffaloes, and elephants in the surrounding woodlands. As the sun sets, you'll reach your campsite near the park, where you’ll enjoy a cozy evening around the campfire.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you’ll travel to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, descending into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for an unforgettable game drive. The crater floor is home to a dense concentration of wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, lions, and countless other species. After a picnic lunch in this “Garden of Eden,” you’ll continue exploring the crater’s diverse habitats, from grasslands to soda lakes. In the late afternoon, you’ll ascend the crater and head to your campsite on the crater rim, enjoying stunning views as you relax for the evening.

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you’ll journey towards the vast Serengeti National Park, passing through the rolling hills of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you enter the Serengeti, you'll embark on a thrilling game drive, searching for the Big Five and witnessing the famous Serengeti plains teeming with wildlife. After a day of adventure, you’ll set up camp in the heart of the Serengeti, where the sounds of the wild will lull you to sleep.

Day 5: Serengeti to Arusha

On the final day, rise early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, where you can witness predators in action as the park comes alive with activity. After breakfast, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha, with opportunities for more wildlife sightings along the way. You'll arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, bringing your incredible five-day safari to a close.
